Introduction

Welcome to my deck!

I have been playing Tasigur, the Golden Fang as my main EDH deck since he was printed in January 2015. I play EDH 2-3 nights a week and I know the deck inside and out. My playgroup fits somewhere in between 75% and competitive.

There are many ways to build Tasigur and I have tried most of them. I have settled on a combo-control build that uses efficient disruption to buy time until I can assemble a game winning combo

Group Philosophy

Group Philosophy

My playgroup likes to play in pods of 4-6. Our power level fits somewhere in between 75% and competitive. Unlike the 75% philosophy we have no interest in putting restrictions on our decks to make them more fair against casual players. Unlike the tier one competitive decks we aren't looking to win on turn 4. We focus on building resilient, interaction heavy decks.

If a tier one deck played at our table, it wouldn't be an issue. This is because we run enough interaction that the game would be balanced. The tier one deck wouldn't have a higher chance of winning than any of us. However, if one of us sat down at a table of tier one decks, our chances of winning would be slim. With tight play and a bit of luck we could potentially pull off a win, but it wouldn't be very likely
