Maybeboard

Flavor setting:

Tasigur is khan of great power, with vast riches. He knows that peril is encroaching, that the very fabric of time is ripping itself apart. Frantically he gathers resources, nearly all of his allies have abandoned him. Save a witness, the courtmage, a thief, and one who is lost but seeking. Eventually the witness tells Tasigur of a powerful oath, and the mage whispers of the power of the will of yawgmoth. The pressure mounts. On the eve of the great aurora, a thief steals time itself, and the great aurora sees the cadaverous bloom awaken, revealing tasigur's mind's desire. In the end, time is bent and broken, and tasigur is listless. He knows what has been, what could be, even now tendrils of boredom creep in. Will today be the day tarkir's timeline is ripped asunder?

This started as an attempt to recreate Prosperous Bloom, one of the early magic combo decks, in EDH form. It still has those elements and can function in that capacity.

I also refined the kill conditions. The deck is a combo toolbox, so rather than have one set way to play now there are multiple lines to look for. storm kill, intuition package, oath, time twistering, or a quick tezz ult.

Though it might not look like it, this is a battlecruiser style edh, We like big flashy spells, and we don't have a ton of counters.

This is my go to edh for amplified power levels. Tasigur can be political, and my new experience playing him in French led me to up my land count.

Updating to add oko as he is a beast.

I added seasons past to this list. In the first game I played with it, I cast it four times in a turn. very nice with cadaverous bloom, and if you can regrow a turnabout with a scroll rack in play, you should be able to loop that interaction. Being an oath deck, seasons is really great for us.

Oath of druids: hits one of the 5 creatures in the deck. Possible targets, snapcaster, e witness, notion thief and Azusa, or Muldrotha the gravetide

2 of these creatures can grant access to the yawgmoth's will, as the vintage oath deck likes to do, so rather than getting a giant beast, you use oath to fill your graveyard, and give you a time walk, or a twister, or a yawg will. If you get asuza, check to see if you oathed loam, as you can dredge it for your draw step, and make use of her immediatley. Finally this deck loves notion thief, so oathing into one is always sweet.

Most common question: what does your deck do?

Answer: Are you aware of the recursive nature of time travel?
