This is a mono-blue, creatureless, control deck. The primary win condition is combat damage via drakes using extra turns. It will also counterspell anything that tries to stop Talrand from making drakes.

Mechanics - Purpose:

  1. Talrand - Makes the drakes that beat face (Primary win Condition)

  2. Counter spells - Stop you from stopping me (+ Talrand = make a drake)

  3. Extra Turns - Extra turns mean extra combat phases (+ Talrand = make a drake)

  4. Draw - Digs for combos and extra turns (+ Talrand = make a drake)

  5. Filter Cantrips - Ponder like effects dig for combos/turns, replace themselves (and make a drake) So for 1 mana you get a 2/2 drake, draw a card, and dig for a win.

This deck is very competitive in 1 v 1 but is very challenging to pilot in a multiplayer setting.
