My first commander deck. I love control with lots of draw. This is perfect for getting extra value out of cheap instant and sorcery spells. Getting a 2/2 flyer out of a draw or counter is awesome! They serve as chump blockers early or fearsome flying monstrosities late in the game.

This is different from other Talrand decks as this has several win-cons, not just Talrand, Sky Summoner and amassing an army of drakes. The counterspells serve as a way to protect the creatures and artifacts (as they are key to the success of the deck), as well as preventing big things for hitting the board. The 5 creatures in this deck are meant to be played by using Proteus Staff or Polymorph on a drake and converting it in a real threat.

The trick is to get mana ramp with Gauntlet of Power, Caged Sun and/or Extraplanar Lens to cast the expensive spells early and getting Talrand, Sky Summoner fast without tapping-out. This way we will be able to play finishers like Omniscience, Coat of Arms (if there are lots of drakes) and Rite of Replication much easier.

Any help in how can it improve is really appreciated, I prefer if stays like medium-budget. I can't afford big cards like Force of Will
