Paraturtle and Kakiryn share an account on TappedOut. As they are married, they share the cards they collect. Below is Paraturtle's deck.

Notables: 33 Instants & Sorceries that Counter, Unsummon, and Card Draw 9 Artifacts, Enchantments, or Creatures that assist in casting Instants & Sorceries 4 Artifacts or Enchantments to assist in increasing Drake stats 6 Artifacts, Enchantments, Planeswalkers, Creatures, or Lands to assist in No Maximum Handsize or Card Draw 5 Mana Rocks 8 Creatures, including the Commander

Experience with the deck (Combo's, reliability, consistency):

1. Isochron Sceptor + Any 2 drop Instant/Sorcery:

-Successfully, I have been able to pull of Imprinting Flood of Recollection to Isochron, bypassing FoR's exile, allowing me to repeatedly retrieve cards from my graveyard. This allows for a Time Warp infinite combo, alongside repeated retrievals of Cyclonic Rift if need be (the former I've yet to do, the latter I've used plenty of times!) You can also retrieve Rise From the Tides as well, which resulted with me going from 24 2/2 black Zombie Creature tokens, to 48 (alongside my Coat of Arms!)

-There's also the added benefit of Imprinting Unsummon, allowing you to unsummon Archeomancer to do the same thing as above, although less efficiently. I can then, roughly, do the same as the above.

2. Tamiyo's Emblem + Unsummon (or a counter-spell):

In my last game, I was able to pull off grabbing Tamiyo's Emblem. With Unsummon in my hand and well-over 10 mana on the field, I was able to home-brew Cyclo Rift the field, lol. It was wild. I was able to do the same with the occasional counter-spell, as well. Regardless, having Tamiyo's Emblem allowed for a lot of wiggle-room.

3. Any combination of "Instant or Sorceries (or blue spells) cost X less" cards:

Nearly every game I have, at minimum, 2 colerless less cost on Instant and Sorceries. I.e. Cyclonic Rift can come out at 5 mana. I've even gotten him at 4 more than once. It's wild.

4. Talrand + Swiftfoot Boots OR Elgaud Inquisitor:

Hexproof baby! And Elqaud may cost more, but she's far more reliable as she too collects hexproof upon soulbond. I often get at least 1 of these 2 cards to show a game.

5. Any combination of creature stat manipulation:

Like point #3, I will end up with a fair combination of cards that manipulate the stats of my Drakes. Often reliable enough with decent card draw.

6. Consistent Card draw:

Whether it be from an Instant or Sorcery, Creature, Artifact, or Enchantment, out of the last 10 sessions, I've only had 1 where card draw just wasn't happening, but it didn't matter because my starting hand was baller and the next 5 draws were exactly what I needed, and then I ended up winning. So even when card draw isn't happening, it's likely that the top set of cards are just what you'd be drawing for anyway.

THE BAD

This deck has come a long way, so I'll simply say how it is right now. Currently, I'm not confident in it's ability to play with a large series of players. When I play with 2 other players, this deck is a force to be reckoned with, but even the inclusion of one more opponent (a 4 player game), I find it wearing thin. My plays become less about accuracy and more about increasing Drake population, where as with less players, I'm able to efficiently prevent opponent progression & produce Drakes. Also, with more players comes more field wipes. And, while you're always sitting on a counter spell, you may not have enough counter spells until the_ NEXT _field wipe arrives.

In short, the more players, the less confident I am in this deck. But, that's not always true, as we played a 6 player game recently and I was lasted until the very end. So, maybe it's just normal stress while playing a tense game lol
