Phenax, God of Deception is the General, yes... But the General is merely a pawn! Necrotic Ooze eats anything you will feed to it! Who's a good ooze?

So... it's a Necrotic Ooze deck that thinks it's a Zombie EDH?! Yes. Figuratively... literally, yes.

And what zombie-esque deck would be complete without a Springjack Pasture to sacrifice goats to the lords of the underworld?

Just so we don't forget our secondary goal, milling is NOT forgotten! We have creatures like Consuming Aberration and Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker that can make short work of your opponent's decks. There are also self-mill cards galore, gotta love the words "target player"!

Keep in mind that with Necrotic Ooze on the field; most, if not all of these creatures could be in your graveyard and you'd be fine!

Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank - Infinite mill combo

Mirror-Mad Phantasm + Mortal Combat - Self-mill win combo

Mortal Combat + Traumatize - Self-mill win combo

Gravecrawler + Grimgrin, Corpse-Born + Rooftop Storm - Infinite counter production, untapping

Carrion Feeder + Gravecrawler + Rooftop Storm - Infinite counter production

There are many more combos, will list the rest out at a later time.

This was, so far, my very favorite deck to construct. Went from a simple wanting of free zeds using Rooftop Storm, ended up making a Zed deck utilizing Ooze!
