Kathril, the insect of your nightmare will eat you in your dreams. As soon as I saw the art on Kathril, I fell in love with him, although, up to date I have never had a commander deck containing green.

The deck is a Voltron play style, milling yourself and setting yourself up with a haste enabler until you can one shot the most threatening player at the table. I have analyzed the amount of keywords in the deck and each keyword that Kathril can obtain are represented at least three times amongst the creatures. The current count is: Reach = 3 Trample = 4 Flying = 7 Indestructible = 3 Hexproof = 3 First Strike = 3 Double Strike = 3 Deathtouch = 3 Lifelink = 5 Menace = 3 Vigilance = 7

The purpose of calculating is so that it is that much easier to make Kathril into a one shot hero. I am currently working on perfecting the keyword blend of the deck, but for now I am happy with the number of times each keyword appears in the deck.

There are lots of low cost ramp to make sure that you are fine on mana mid-game where you can start milling yourself on turn 3-5. Ideally, casting Kathril on turn 5-7. At the moment, there are 4 ways to give Kathril haste, which will be essential for one hit KOing that control player in the beginning of the game. Once Kathril is a threat, our opponents will need very specific removal to get him off the board. While Kathril is on the board, we want to continue milling to look for more pieces that will lay out our victory further.

There are a few other utility cards with a small reanimator package.

Key conclusions: Leyline of Sanctity: Protects graveyard. Ravens crime: Discard outlet to put those creatures from our hand into the graveyard.
