I had no idea this deck would be this popular! I can't wait to play it at this week's gameday tournament and let you all know how it runs! I know it's going to devastate the hydra event deck! Thanks again for the support all!

Woot! Thanks for the feedback

Surly it better to put in Sylvan Caryatid over Guardians of Meletis . Firstly its more ramp and secondly better synergy with Axebane Guardian , particuly as it becoming indestructible with Darksteel Forge isn't going to happen as often.

I am also foolishly building a Colossus of Akros deck and was wondering if you could take a look. The best offence

TheAlmightyPillock I do like Sylvan Caryatid but the only issue I have with it is that it can't reliably make Gyre Sage evolve like Guardians of Meletis does, I'll try it out to see how it runs though :)

And sure I'll check it out

I've reconsidered Guardians of Meletis due to it's use in dealing Lifebane Zombie .

Again still not convinced with Darksteel Forge . Also as Garruk, Caller of Beasts 's -3 only puts green creatures into play......oh just realised that the +1 acts as powerful card draw for thier high creature deck and the ultimate is going to put Colossus of Akros straight into play. now I'm wondering why this isn't mainboard. Perhaps reduce Bow of Nylea by one as you don't have many aggressive creatures, most of the ones your going to swing with will kill whatever they hit without any help. Yes trample and deathtouch is good but not when its only a few creatures.

Again I'm rather new to standard, more used to commander so i'm more than happy to be told while I'm wrong. Everything helps me to learn. Also thank you for looking at my deck.

The Bow of Nylea is more used for its choice ability, mainly the +1/+1 counters either on Gyre Sage for mana, or on the defenders that don't have power so they can utilize the deathtouch aspect.

Is the deck going to be continually spewing +1/+1s? If so then def add like a third bow

It's legendary so you can only have one at a time or I totally would haha.

September 19, 2013 7:24 p.m.

well like I said before the deck is rockin. Id still add a third bow for flavor ;D

September 19, 2013 7:55 p.m.

Bow of Nylea only effects "attacking creatures'' so most of your deck wont get a benefit.

Bahaha my brain completely skipped the "attacking creatures" part.

Boon Satyr if he's not in it then this deck is not that fast to be honest.

Rabblerabble says... #15

Good not fast sorry and this deck would get PWNED by control matchups

This is kind'a overloaded with Mana Ramp/Accel, don't you think its kind'a bit redundant? Though its working, its getting hard to interact once its disrupted. I tried it against my Ghost Baron --- Post-Theros Standard, so you might check it out and see for yourself.

Rabblerabble what does Boon Satyr have to do with anything, it doesn't even fit in here.

And oni_xiii, so much ramp does seem redundant, but it's consistent, and if I play against removal like yours, or abundant control I still have backups to get the big guys out. I don't consider playtesting against yourself very reliable, it's your brain against your brain, the deck you want to win, will usually win.

Dude....you get a +1 for the name alone. I wish it had more green beatdown feel but it does look like a pain to play against. Btw where is the Arbor Colossus ? I mean it is colossues...colossuis? Bahahahahah! Good Deck, Great name.
