Sideboard

Tired of the typical EDH decks? You like obscure cards that aren't heavily played but are actually good? Then this is the place for you!

Most of the deck's win conditions and mechanics rely on the magical phrase "At the beginning of your upkeep", so I instantly though about an old card I had from the Time Spiral expansion. And after 11 years of sitting patiently in my binder, it finally found its purpose. Combined with the other cards in the package it represent value in its purest form. Massive card draw, lifegain, opponents discarding cards or simply by speeding our timetable for the win conditions, Paradox Haze is doing it all.
As you can imagine the main goal of the deck is to steal the victory with an alternate win condition. For that purpose we use various different combinations:

WinCon2 Show

WinCon3 Show

Apart from those fun ways to win we do have other options in case we run into way too much enchantment removal or if you really hate the other 3 people at your play group. Firstly, Kindred Boon + Myojin of Seeing Winds + Psychosis Crawler , if uninterrupted will win you the game outright (if you have Laboratory Maniac, it's another WinCon on it's own). If you want to go a darker path Kindred Boon + Myojin of Night's Reach will deprive your opponents from their hands...every turn. Just make sure you name spirits for Kindred Boon wink. For extra evil points, remember that Sydri, Galvanic Genius's first ability targets any artifact on the field, so you can turn your opponents' precious toys into creatures right before a board wipe.
If these plans fail and you still want to win cast Torment of Hailfire with improvise from Inspiring Statuary or with mana from Blinkmoth Urn for like 20+ mana. Or maybe both? Evil laugh
This is our last resort in most cases, if our combos are ruined and Torment of Hailfire gets countered. With the full Honden cycle and Paradox Haze you should have enough life to nuke at least 1 or 2 people from the table with Aetherflux Reservoir.
These are the various ways to protect our win conditions. This section is pretty self-explanatory, so moving on.
As expected we don't run too many creatures so we have to rely on good old board wipes and massive pillow fort to stay alive. Teferi's Moat is a solid card against aggro/voltron decks that don't have many fliers. If your meta has a lot of those you can switch it for Propaganda.
Lastly I want to give general tips for the various tutor that we run in the deck.
