Deck's goal is to be swinging with Kalemne on turn 4. Has 13 ways of ensuring this (10 mana rocks, 2 3cmc haste cards, and lightning greaves). After that the goal is to protect our commander and play a few more big creatures to keep the pressure on and give Kalemene some experience counters. Deck runs about 10 cards that can protect our board state and/or commander. Deck runs 23 creatures, 20 of which give our commander experience. It runs about 10 removal/disruption cards (including a sunforger package). It also runs about 10 cards that can give some form of card draw or card advantage, which is difficult in boros (staff of nin, seer's sundial, sun titan). Most of these goals are accomplished by having cards that serve multiple purposes. The deck has a very low curve and wants to win fast.
