Could you also make a Super Smash Boros BRAWL deck? Mostly for flavor, but it would be a nice budget alternative

manticoreknight Not sure about Karn. Card draw that can die real easy. He does synergize with all my artifacts though. I haven't been able to cast Brightflame in a game yet, I'm dubious yet hopeful about it. Painter's Servant will make it fantastic though. Time will tell.

dhearne04 To be honest with you, I do not care at all for Brawl, and doubt F&S will even be good in it with so little support.

So I realize that it is a huge "win more" card but I want to hear your thoughts about Helm of the Host anyways. Also, what are your thoughts on Survival Cache, Ritual of Rejuvenation, etc. I realize the life gain is subpar especially without the Commander but they do replace themselves and could provide extra advantage with Well of Lost Dreams. Lastly, I hate infect wins as they feel dirty to me but Grafted Exoskeleton could be a slow way of helping close out the game or whittle down opposing threats. Love this deck and wish I could offer more ideas to help polish up the coolest Boros Legend out there.

Coldsteel Heart is strictly better than either Fire Diamond or Marble Diamond, btw.

• Helm of the Host looks like a lot of fun! For this deck in particular it doesn't do much. Not enough juicy targets with such a low creature count. I'm thinking about making a deck with it and Aurelia, the Warleader. I also made a deck based around it that you can check out here: Atarka enemy now!
• Survival Cache, Ritual of Rejuvenation and the like are good but just aren't quite good enough for me. Cashe would go in if only it was an instant! I think the main problem is they aren't good when my commander isn't out, basically becoming a cantrip. I'd rather have something good when my commander isn't out than a cantrip. Still, they're decent cards that I'm sure others will find some success with.
• I'm not a fan of infect either. Slapping that bad boy down puts a target on my back. It lacks the subtlety this deck needs to win. Thanks for the comment!

Suns_Champion I mean it's a good list, but you can't play Painter's Servant unless you're playing with a playgroup that doesn't mind banned cards.

How about Approach of the Second Sun and some more wheel effects like Wheel of Fortune? could also add in some walkers and ways to copy your spells like Dual Casting or Dualcaster Mage, Increasing Vengeance, Fork.Assemble the Legion can give you some chump blockers and maybe something to recycle your graveyard if you mill or start running low on instants/sorceries like Archangel's Light or Elixir of Immortality

Fiftyshotzlater Thanks for the suggestions! Not a fan of "win the game" cards. Thinking about adding Molten Psyche, but the other wheel effects are to expensive/too slow. The copy effects are just alright, but Boros doesn't have enough draw to consistently get a burn and a copy spell in hand at the same time. They're bad topdecks. Elixir of Immortality seems alright, goes well with Sunforger. Thanks! Don't forget to upvote if you haven't already!

I have been playing a lot of 1v1 games and have gotten to test many cards, but many others still need to be run through their paces. Changes soon.

I want to add The Immortal Sun. I need more draw, and this one also provides ramp and a small buff, and planeswalker hate(which Is good, as I run no 'walkers). Any thoughts on this?

Super nice deck, I'm gathering cards for a deck myself! Have you considered some of these cards? Wildfire Eternal, Starstorm, Shielded by Faith and Sunbird's Invocation - also what was your thought on Sunbond?
