New to Magic and want a deck that is fun to play with your freinds? Try out Mono Green Ramp! This deck is very easy to pilot, fast, budget freindly and most of fun. Your main objective with this deck will be to get alot of mana quick and play a big creature fast (like playing a Liege of the Tangle turn 3!). Play an mana dork such as Elvish Mystic, Llanowar Elves, or Arbor Elf turn one and then turn 2 you can work with 3 mana to do whatever with, for example if you played an Arbor Elf turn 1, play an Overgrowth onto a forest turn 2 and have 8 mana turn 3 if you play a land each turn! Or play a Leatherback Baloth turn 2 to put some pressure onto your opponent. There are so many different options to spend your mana on that your opponent probably doesn't have an answer for early (unless your in competitive modern but that's a whole different world than casual play ;). ). In the end this deck is better and more fun to play than a planeswalker deck and can be upgraded into a very powerful deck. If you want to play this list in a modern tournament you'll have to put in Utopia Sprawl for Wild Growth since Wild Growth is not modern legal, but Utopia Sprawl is a much better card and part of the upgrade. Potential Upgrade

With enough upgrades you can go two different ways, one of which being a deck that ramps into Worldspine Wurms and Primeval Titans for the win. OR You can upgrade into a combo deck that ramps into Tooth and Nail which gets Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and Xenagos, God of Revels out turn 3. Which I personally think is the better option. My friend plays this deck and I can confirm that it is pretty good ;). Either way I would personally add in 3 or 4 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx as my first upgrade
