The goal of the deck is to power out as much mana as possible as quickly as possible in order to actually play our top end enchantments at a timely pace. After ghostly prison and sphere of safety ensure you won't get rekt by a stray hollow one or a pair of tarmagoyfs, then you're allowed to go for the hedron alignment plan. On a side note, secret salvage is just a splash of black that fertile ground allows us to play while still using only bant lands.
