Sundial abuse

Casual*

kzig

  1. Get Glacial Chasm and Sundial of the Infinite into play, using the Sundial to avoid the land sacrifice or paying the cumulative upkeep.

  2. Wait for your opponent to deck themselves, using your array of green and white counterspells to nullify any attempt to target either of the combo pieces. It's unlikely that they'll have more land or artifact destruction than you can deal with.

Crop rotation is there mainly for finding the Chasm, but it doubles as a counterspell of last resort if you already have one in play. It can also reset the clock on the Chasm's cumulative upkeep if you don't have a Sundial out (for best results, do this while the cumulative upkeep trigger is on the stack, as this buys you an extra turn without losing life).

Drawing cards quickly becomes rather costly once you've got a chasm out, so I've gone with a full set of cycling lands, to make it easier to find counterspells once the combo is in play.

The stars and spheres are there to help to dig through your deck, as well as fixing mana. You can also float the mana from one of the stars to cast a Tutor while the graveyard trigger is on the stack, resolve the Tutor and draw the card you found.
