The decks main goal is to get Sun Titan and Skullclamp together and just ravage a Wood Elves over and over. The power level is on the low end of casual, but the synergies are so resilient that its hard to stop the deck in the late game from doing what it wants to do. The philosophy behind deck building essentially boils down to creatures with value etb's, 1 toughness and 3 or less cmc, a.k.a. if you cant Skullclamp it then bring it back with Sun Titan , then it can take a hike. The deck eventualy will win with Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry or Kokusho, the Evening Star and recurring Phantasmal Image / Dance of Many or sometimes Last Stand + Prismatic Omen to finish off one opponent. The rest is just kinda good stuff control.

Note: There are a few exclusions from this deck just based on my playgroups ban list ( Cyclonic Rift and Consecrated Sphinx are the most obvious. I cant for the life of me figure out how these two in particular are still leagal). We also tend to shy away from infinite/kill the world combos. Any other cards that might seem like they would be auto includes in this list i probably dont play because i personally dislike the power level or flavor of the cards.

A short history of the deck. Ive been playing and tinkering with this deck for nearly a decade, its evolved a lot over the years with the my own personal tastes and to suit my playgroups play styles and power levels. It is my first and likely the last EDH deck i will ever pilot. I have many others, but this is my golden child, which in retrospect Child of Alara would obviously be the most fitting genral for the deck, but I origanally was building a budget deck (spent like $10 at the lgs to build it) with a lot of cards that just did multiple things like split cards and charms, so cromat fit the theme too well and by the time i realized child was better the deck was already "the cromat deck".
