This deck is looking to self mill itself to oblivion. Basically, we try to get value with the grave, in the early game, by letting it facilitate Charnel Troll, which could simply run away with the game quickly. Secondly Mill will be largely occurring within the context of exploring andGlowspore Shaman, to keep us finding lands. The mid game in this deck is defined by removal, and bomby creatures, such as Ravenous Chupacabra, Vraska, Golgari Queen, and Doom Whisperer. The Mid to late game is hopefully where Muldrotha, the Gravetide will shine, being able to get back a Vraska, lands to sac to Vraska, and many of our utility creatures, to either keep milling or to put pressure on the opponent's life. The late game, though, is where the one copy of Nexus of Fate comes in. We no longer have to worry about milling out, no it actually means we win! Just take infinite turns, when nexus is the last card in the deck, and ult a Vraska, and/or just deal the 20 damage with giant trampling threats. If Muldrotha doesn't come, then often, the mid to late game is simply accelerated through, with the effects of Doom Whisperer, and Underrealm Lich, to dump our deck into the graveyard, leaving us with that oh so precious Nexus.

This deck, as many midrange decks do, can put to the side its other plans until the late game, playing as a stumbly control deck, where in which it deploys a removal spell on turns two, through four, in order to keep an aggressive deck at bay.

The one of Wand of Vertebrae allows us another mill piece, as well as a card which can protect our Nexus while it's in the grave, from exile effects. As well as this, sometimes Moldrotha, and Memorial to Folly are milled, and the wand is a way to regain the little grave engine that those two are.

The Doomfalls represent plaguecrafter until it is on tapped out, so I can playtest!
