There is a few new cards in the new Amonkhet block that show promise for zoo decks in standard, these cards are : Bone picker, Honored Hydra and Prowling Serpopard.

I've had a go at a deck based around this idea, I'm open for suggestions.

Thanks for your suggestion. With that I have added some recommended cards that will increase the power level of the deck.

Grim Flayer: One of the strongest 2 drops in standard, its ability to toss cards in the graveyard allows Honored Hydra's embalm to trigger very easily. Grim Flayer's delirium ability also keeps the it a consistent threat to the board.

Contingency Plan: I feel this card is a little underestimated in standard, at the most basic level, it is a scry 5 except it allows the option of putting cards into the gravyard other than the bottom of the library, I feel this is slightly stronger than the original scry. This means you can activate delerium, toss Honored Hydra into the graveyard or/and the next few cards you draw in the future. This is all for just two mana!

Rhonas the Indomitable: This is a big scary card that is indestructible and it buffs your other dudes, it commands an answer from your opponent immediately, it's a card that will usually end the game a few turns after being cast, a win condition.

I would appreciate more suggestions to increase the competitiveness of this deck, perhaps something beautiful can be made here...
