A little deck I brewed up, some backstory: I though to myself while searching around for interesting new decks, I'd really like to make a list with Thief of Sanity and Karn, Scion of Urza , so BAM. Here it is. It isn't perfect yet but while designing it a lot of my focus was on a beautiful curve, which I think I might have nearly achieved. Here's a breakdown.

Finishers: I've got 4 finishers. Thief of Sanity , normally dies pretty quick, but he'll eat a spell at least and if he sticks you are almost guaranteed to win with it. Taking 3 of their maybe helpful cards and then being able to cast one of them late game is a yes please. He's also a focal point Doom Whisperer , an amazing 5 mana 6/6 flyer with the added surveil mechanic, great value. Vraska, Relic Seeker , removal, creatures, and an ultamite that'll win you the game. Last but not least, Karn, Scion of Urza . Where he may not look that scary, he makes bodies, and gets you card advantage, eventually wearing the opponent down by sheer card advantage and board presence. He's amazing, and the 2nd focal point of this deck.

You normally don't have a turn 1 play, considering your one drops are removal, unless you're going second. Turn 2 Merfolk Branchwalker or Treasure Map   is preferred, unless you need to remove a creature or in the rare occasion you kept a crap hand. Turn 3 you have options, Thief of Sanity is good, but if you need cards or lands, Jadelight Ranger / Notion Rain is good. You might even play another 2 drop! Wow so many options! I really enjoy dropping a turn 4 Karn, Scion of Urza , but sometimes you can't, and you get bitterly disappointed. after that you should curve into a Doom Whisperer or Vraska, Relic Seeker . Throughout games you should focus on board presence and removal. Every turn you'll have a choice, which is why this deck is so fun to play. Give an upvote if you like!
