My newest EDH deck, as such many cards are placeholders . . . so when you see Corpse Blockade , just pretend it is a much better sac outlet. Many of the utility cards in here are currently in my Mikaeus, the Unhallowed deck and I'm working on obtaining second copies.

Themes:

1. Constellation. Trying to make something unique with this piece of the deck. Essentially I'm looking to double-down on the grindy advantage of Athreos, God of Passage by making the choices harder for my opponents. With Mesa Enchantress, Grim Guardian , and Sigil of the Empty Throne in play, suddenly paying 3 life to keep that Gnarled Scarhide in the yard is much more appealing.

2. On-death token generation. Xathrid Necromancer, Ogre Slumlord, Requiem Angel and others. Again, gives me something for every creature I ferry across, and creates harder decisions for the opponent.

3. Weanie-rez. Rally the Ancestors , Immortal Servitude and (soon to acquire) Return to the Ranks all allow for the previous scenarios to be recreated again and again, even dodging the exile clause on Rally by sac-ing the whole board before end step. Allows me to play recklessly aggressive early with attacks and blocks, but still have late-game options.

Deck is still very much in progress, but my first few games with my playgroup have shown promise, so I'll continue to explore and balance these three themes as well as improving the general utility of sac-engines and individual creature strength.
