Stuffy Noble

Noble format

Rare: Stuffy Doll
Uncommons: 2x Swiftfoot Boots, 2x Enlightened Tutor

The idea is to survive long enough to get Stuffy Doll out and put Guilty Conscience on it.

Mind StoneMTG Card: Mind Stone and Prismatic LensMTG Card: Prismatic Lens will have Stuffy DollMTG Card: Stuffy Doll out in a jiffy, this looks extremely deadly! Maybe it's even ban worthy, the indestructible part is pretty hard to deal with.

Yeah I dunno, it may be approaching ban worthiness, but we wouldn't want to go overboard either. I already have Mind StoneMTG Card: Mind Stone in there, do you think Prismatic LensMTG Card: Prismatic Lens should go in as well? And if so what should I take out for it? Remote FarmMTG Card: Remote Farm actually helps a lot too with getting Stuffy DollMTG Card: Stuffy Doll out quickly. I just playtested a bit and consistently got the combo off around turn 5.

i dont think its ban worthy, plenty of ways to deal with it in the format. sac it in black, take control in blue or red, bounce or counter in blue, tap it down or exile it with white, infect/tragic slip...

Another Noble ban avoided by the existence of ShrivelMTG Card: Shrivel. I'm going to buy a million copies of that card, hype them up, then sell them. Heh, market fixing.

Nice deck!

Haha yeah. This deck should probably sideboard something to deal with that. Maybe Eland UmbraMTG Card: Eland Umbra or Iron WillMTG Card: Iron Will.

Oh good, so the only deck that can beat this is one running black? Awesome.

Well, I think a single Mana LeakMTG Card: Mana Leak also takes the deck down a notch or two. I mean, the combo pieces don't start coming into play until turn 4, and without Guilty ConscienceMTG Card: Guilty Conscience in hand it's a slow win, right? I mean I could be wrong but I don't want to ban it unless necessary.

Yeah, a turn 5 win is pretty reasonable. I'm just concerned about the whole Infinite Combo bit, a lot of people don't appreciate that, and it could probably hit turn 4 with Lotus PetalMTG Card: Lotus Petals. It is probably not necessary to ban it, there are other powerful combo's that we allow to exist. Also, Ramosian RallyMTG Card: Ramosian Rally says cool story bro to ShrivelMTG Card: Shrivel.

Now how am I supposed to sell this stack of 1,000,000 ShrivelMTG Card: Shrivels?

Crivaro says... #12

I don't think it's necessary to ban this. Winning at turn 5 or 6 is pretty alright I think. I'd have suggested EntanglerMTG Card: Entangler to protect yourself, but it's too high with CC and also uncommon...
