Replace Ashnod's Altar and Phyrexian Altar for Crucible of Worlds and Ramunap Excavator ? More consistent perhaps.

Yo KittenPetter I was wondering about the Altars... The initial playtesting has indicated that sac outlets won't be quite as important as I thought. Still, I'm not ready to cut the two best ones in the deck, and I'm not convinced that I need a crucible effect based on that one game yet. I think I just need to play a little differently and make sure I'm not discarding ALL lands when I go to hand size. I did cut another utility land for a basic and increase my total land count by one as we discussed.

Is the name of this deck a misspelling of Earthworm Jim, a weird inside joke of some sort, or a clever allusion to the player psychographics??

Yes to all of the above, ZendikariWol. Also, my name is Tim...

I appreciate an artist who leaves a lot open to interpretation. Good on you, Tim.

I love Grothama and power matters decks. I run a Multani-Maro Sorcerer deck myself :). Here are some tips for cards you could consider:
- Your curve seems to shy away from 2 drops. Perhaps you can switch some picks to level this out a little bit. For example, going for Sakura-Tribe Elder instead of Boonweaver Giant.
- I really like Broodhatch Nantuko in Grothama lists. Fungal Sprouting provides a similar effect.
- You could consider some other power matters cards, like Monstrous Onslaught and Pathbreaker Ibex
- If you find yourself drawing a lot of cards, you could fit in some more ways that prevent you from discarding, like Thought Vessel and Sylvan Scrying .
However, all in all it looks great! These are just some cards you could consider :).

Hey Beebles. Yeah, the two-drop slot is something I've been pondering, especially because I have Birthing Pod in the deck and a cadre of 1-drop dorks. Still, I don't really like Steve in a deck that can't recur him much more than a Rampant Growth.
I really like Broodhatch Nantuko. Tokens are hilarious with Vigor , and obviously excellent with my two mana-producing altars. Saber Ants and Druid's Call are other similar effects I've been considering for the deck, but I'm just not sure where to make cuts.
Sylvan Scrying is another good call, if nothing less than to replace the less-efficient Expedition Map . It's on the short list for a cut from my lands deck, See the Durdle of Enormous Girth, so I've even got a copy already!

I personally find Psychosis Crawler to be a great side-win condition with Grothama. Also, I HIGHLY recommend trying out Rude Awakening and Sylvan Awakening. When you have Vigor out and you just need like, twenty 12/12s to beat a game out, it's always fun to cast one of those and have all of your lands fight Grothama for massive gains.
-Sincerely, a big Grothama Fan.

Hey LibrarianOz! Thanks for checking out the deck and the great feedback. On first glance, Sylvan Awakening seems like the stronger of the two Awaken effects. Have you found that to be the case?

VietMoneys I do. But every now and then, when you are able to pay eight for Rude Awakening, the extra mana is quite helpful if you wanna go extra overkill and play a Rhonas, God Eternal (or something else equally spicy for when twenty 12/12s aren't enough.)

Is there a way we can give Stuffy Doll to our opponent and then use fight mechanics to kill them?
