So this was my first foray into Standard MTG deck building. I'd only ever done EDH/Commander and drafting before.

I was inspired when I bought an M2013 fatpack and drew 3 Stuffy Dolls. At first I was like "what the heck am I going to do with these?", but then someone mentioned building a "Prey Upon/Revenge of the Hunted" deck with Stuffy Dolls, and I started testing it out. This is what I've come up with so far. In my play-testing I've found that while Prey Upon (and/or Ulvenwald Tracker) can produce some good results, I was finding I either got swamped with too many Prey Upons with no Stuffy Dolls or Stuffy Dolls with no win conditions. That's where Blasphemous Act and Into the Maw of Hell come in.

Birthing Pod is just an extra way to ensure I get Stuffy Doll out (plus ramp mana), and I'll have to come up with a new plan once Mirrodin rotates. The game should get a lot slower with Mirrodin out, so maybe something like Reforge the Soul will work.

I'm torn between Thunderbolt and Prey Upon, but my gut tells me that with Restoration Angel being so popular, that I would rather kill them, as they can't be killed with Slagstorm, unlike Delver and Geist of Saint Traft.

Wild Defiance is to prevent Tragic Slips, and Autumn's Veil is to REALLY prevent Tragic Slips (and Vapor Snags and mana leaks). Melira is for the odd poison deck that still sees play in my meta occasionally. Elixir of Immortality is for Turbo Fog, which tends to be a REALLY good match-up for this deck game 1. Game 2/3, they bring out the Torpor Orbs and the Tormod's Crypts, which is where the Acidic Slimes, Elixir of Immortality, and Beast Withins come into play.

Overall I'm really pleased. It's a bit gimmicky, and when I lose I lose HORRIBLY, but when I win it's with like a double Stuffy Doll Blasphemous Act for 26 points.

NOTE: Rancor DESTROYS this deck. Beast Within is my only way to deal with it, and that's iffy. I need to come up with a better plan for it. Possibly Revenge of the Hunted replacing Wild Defiance to sideboard out Thunderbolts.
