Sideboard

Strike the Core is one of those RDW-types that is all about just going directly for the kill. Most of the cards in this deck all focus on taking the opponent's life total down with direct spells rather than creatures, but even the creatures in this deck have a burn-spell-esque quality.

-1-drops-

Furnace Scamp: Useful for beginning to early-midgame, 4 damage for a 1-drop creature if it's neglected to be blocked either hits hard early or seals an opponen'ts fate.

Slumbering Dragon: Pretty useless early on, but it makes opponents regret attacking because the potential threat of an +8/8 attacker with flying coming in to play.

Vexing Devil: A masterpiece of a creature, really. Either a 4/3 for 1 or 4 damage to your opponent

-2-drops-

Thermo-Alchemist: Eldritch Moon's brand new Thermo-Alchemist is a decent defender, and it's ability to tap for 1 damage and untap every time you cast an instant/sorcery makes it useful for continuous damage.

-3 and 4-drops

Boros Reckoner: With Boros Reckoner blocking, an opponent will think twice about swinging with a heavy creature.

Predator Ooze : Predatory Ooze is good for when an opponent is distracted with other threats, since whenever it attacks it gains a +1/+1 counter, and whenever a creature is killed by it it gains another +1/+1 counter. Useful for punishing token blocking or unfocused defense.

Rubblebelt Raiders : In the event that the game runs a little longer than expected, Rubblebelt Raiders gain counters for every attacking creature on your side, and that's always good.

-Instants-

Colossal Might : Useful for smacking extra damage through a blocker an to where it needs to be, on an opponent's life total.

Evolution Charm : This utility instant makes sure we're always prepared for anything, with land acceleration, revival, and a new angle of attack all for a 2-drop.

Lightning Axe: If you can spare the card or the mana, Lightning Axe is a great 5 damage for 1.

Lightning Bolt: A slightly cheaper option than Lightning Axe, Lightning Bolt is worth the 1 mana.

Vines of Vastwood: In case someone tries to destroy one of your precious tanks, Vastwood and its Kicker make sure nobody sacrifices your creatures, except for you.

-Sorceries-

Exquisite Firecraft: 4 points of uncounterable damage, Awesome!

Magmatic Chasm : In case you really need to bypass heavy enemies.

-Enchantment-

Manabarbs: Keep your opponent in check by making them lose health for each mana they spend of casting spells. Careful though, as this affects you too.

Act of Treason : Great for playing mind-games with heavy creature decks! Steal your opponents own army and hit them with it!

Destructive Revelry: Why Naturalize when you can Pulverise?

Exploding Borders : For when the mana starving really gets on your nerves.

Leyline of Punishment: Say Goodbye to Fog and Safe Passage !

Phytoburst : Good for handling big creatures.

Predator's Rapport : Low on health? Ramp a creature and steal their toughness!

Skullcrack: Your damage will go through. Period.
