Aggro u/w human deck, for those on a budget. It might actually be decent. Going to playtest it a bit later but let me know what you think.

The point here is to build up Champion of the Parish with the mostly human creature set. Detain early with Azorius Arrester and then set Champion of the Parish up with Silverblade Paladin and New Prahv Guildmage to make him a double strike unblockable monster. If you manage to bring in the Inquisitor's Flail along side that it's game over. Lyev Skyknight can not only detain but take the place of a Champion of the Parish that may have been knocked out. Drogskol Reaver may not be a huge endgame creature but paired with Inquisitor's Flail he'll definitely keep you in the game with lifelink and card draw.

Still working on a sideboard but comments and suggestions are welcome.

It doesn't seem like you have much protection or control. Even if your Champion of the Parish was beastly, that doesn't mean they couldn't just simple destroy it or exile it after all your hard work. If you wanted something cheap and easy for defense, I'd recommend running 4 card:Faith's Shield.

Also, other than the two Drogskol Reaver s you have, your mana curve is pretty low. I think you could get by with dropping to 22 or 23 lands, which would give you a little more room for something else.

I love budget decks, easily a +1 just for that! I agree with Dylan for the card:Faith's Shields other options being Mizzium Skin or even Dispel (though maybe in sideboard)

Is Precinct Captain considered budget enough? Could work delightfull well with Champion of the Parish ...
