Sideboard

current Primer Stompy (White Splash)

my original competition deck

The Cards

One Drops Experiment One: it get bigger with +1/+1 with every creature and regenerates
Narnam Renegade: usually comes in as a 2/3 but still triggers Experiment One as 1/2
Dryad Militant: nice aggressive one drop with built in graveyard hate (it really hates on control)

Two Drops

Avatar of the Resolute: it has trample and reach so very useful and 15 of the creature in the deck have 1+/1+ counters
Scavenging Ooze: life gain, graveyard hate and it get BIG!
Strangleroot Geist: its aggressive, it self resurrects and gets bigger :)

Three Drop

Rhonas the Indomitable its big its deathtouch and indestructible, it gives rancor to a creature at need and it gets Experiment One up to a 5/5
- Steel Leaf Champion: Devotion for 3, 5/4 body and relevant evasion ability makes this the most solid 3 drop option

Spells Aspect of Hydra: the whole reason we run devotion is this pay off card, can pump our board from anywhere 3- 6 turn 3 to help get those early kills
Nature's Way: nice removal with some extras
Dismember: our only instant speed removal
Blossoming Defense protection and pump spell
Rancor it pumps, it grants trample, and it comes back from the grave

Land

Hashep Oasis: surprisingly powerful. costs us perhaps one or two life in the game with the option late game to pump a creature :)
Treetop Village: a 3/3 with trample can be very relevant.
Windswept Heath: used primarily for use triggering Narnam Renegade and slightly thinning the deck
Wooded Foothills: next cheapest fetch over Windswept Heath.
Misty Rainforest: next cheapest fetch over Wooded Foothills.

Important

the combination of Deathtouch and Trample: only ONE damage is dealt to each creature that blocks a creature with both as one dandge is "lethal Damage" meaning a 4/1 with trample and deathtouch attacks and is blocked by a 4/4 and a 1/2. the 4/1 will die but so will both blocking creatures and the opponent will take 2 damage to their life points.

NOTE: for my current competitive deck Stompy (White Splash)

NOTE: for original devotion and more Budget Version Fast Stompy (Budget)

Card previously used in deck

Kessig Prowler  : excellent one drop with a late game mana sink
Groundswell: mediocre pump
Prey Upon: consistent sorcery speed removal (very good with deathtouch)
Aspect of Hydra: very good in devotion based deck
Kalonian Tusker: mediocre 2 drop but was hit by bolt with no additional upside
Leatherback Baloth: an excellent three drop and a must if playing Aspect of Hydra but it has been out classed by Rhonas the Indomitable.
