Maybeboard

This is my take on how to build around B̶i̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶C̶o̶r̶g̶a̶n̶ Mairsil, the Pretender .

The main structure of the deck is to play mild Grixis control until you can cruise to the win. Often this is simply commander damage by making Mairsil, the Pretender a huge unblockable creature with AEtherling and Anthroplasm . Of course, there are other ways to win, including caging Basalt Monolith , Quicksilver Elemental , and Horseshoe Crab for a very large Comet Storm in the mid-late game.

For those who love combos, this deck features Anthroplasm + Sage of Hours for infinite turns and Tree of Perdition + Hateflayer to K/O anybody. Add a Quicksilver Elemental to the latter combo and you can win on the spot with enough mana. For infinite colourless mana, cage Basalt Monolith , Pili-Pala , and Quicksilver Elemental .

Perhaps the dirtiest little trick in the deck: cage Nevinyrral's Disk and an ablity like Soul of New Phyrexia or AEtherling to have a one-sided board wipe every turn.
