2-2 at Sun Standard (12/18) —Dec. 19, 2016
Match-ups:
- 2-0 vs. Gruul Wolves. An embarrassingly easy match-up.
- 2-0 vs. Grixis Emerge. Easy match-up ... that deck is just very slow.
- 0-2 vs. Mardu Control. A terrible match-up ... just too much removal, too many counterspells, and WAY too many Gearhulks for my deck.
- 1-2 vs. Naya Superfriends. A pretty even match-up, actually. But having to mul' to 3 in Game 1 didn't help :-(
Overall impressions:
- Revolutionary Rebuff was amazing last week, but very meh this week ... my opponents just had available way too often. I'm considering a shift back to Negate and Dispel.
- Arlinn Kord Flip was MVP, due to her +1 Vigilance effect, which completely nerfed Nahiri, the Harbinger.

I've run multiple playtest between Chandra Ima Winner vs Steel-Cannon Pummeler (KLD) and they're very close until turn 5-7. Very Intresting matchup!

Ol_man,
Yeah, that's a fun match-up for sure. I'm not exactly sure how I'd sideboard against your deck. Definitely +2 Incendiary Flow/-2 Electrostatic Pummeler ... maybe +2 Key to the City/-2 Pump spells ... and if I saw a lot of your removal, probably the Island and Revolutionary Rebuffs.
Thanks much for playtesting!

i have a land destruction deck, that struggled a LOT... 2 cards made the fucking difference!Kessig Prowler Flip and Giant Spectacle ! .If you manage to spit these 2 out, you will do MAJOR damage. PLUS, later game, if you transform the prowler, it is a fucking unblockable creature XD .Copy the deck and try it out, to see if this works for you :P
Wish you the best on the upcoming tournaments !
