This is mono-red stax aggro deck that uses my budget fast mana (
Rite of Flame
, Simian Spirit Guide, Mind Stone, Cloudpost, Crystal Vein, and Snadstone Needle) to cast budget threats quickly (
Instigator Gang
,
Mondronen Shaman
, Lodestone Golem,
Hanweir Watchkeep
, and Koth of the Hammer) and stalls the board with budget stax cards (Tangle Wire, and Trinisphere)
...Budgetly
Sin Prodder has actually done pretty well. Only 8 cards are less than a Bolt to their face, and if he flips lands, they just go to the graveyard; all of your fast mana puts you ahead, so you don't need lands as much.
Magma Jet is a way to set up Prodder, and kill small things like Delver
and Gaddock Teeg and DRS
Mishra's Factory
allows you to do stuff on your turn without casting spells,so it's an upside for all your werewolves
Eternal Scourge allows you to have a nice threat that is near impossible to kill and "combos" with the next card
Arc-Slogger is an interesting choice to burn out dudes and get potential advantage from the Scourges
Questions: Do I not have enough Mountains for koth to be good?
Is Cloudpost worth it? Turn 2 Lodestone Golems and Trinispheres can be insane, but lack of red mana from it and the lack of Vesuvas in the deck
Besides the obvious Chalices and Blood Moons, (as they are not budget) what else could I add? What could I cut?
