Mono White Humans that DOMINATE the board
DECK OVERVIEW!
This is mono white humans. I know this type of deck is very popular in standard, so I tried putting my personal twist on it as to make it my own, but the basis of the deck is to overwhelm the board with cheap human creatures and maintain control with enchantments and Eerie Interlude.
What Are The Cards?
I added Gideon, Ally of Zedikar because of his ability to fit to your play style. If you want him as a +1/+1 emblem for 4, you can do that, but if you are on the upper hand, you can also keep him as a 5/5 indestructible unit to help pile on pressure, so for these reasons I feel he is a worthy benefit to the deck.
Always watching is a new enchantment from SOI that I personally really like for a few reasons. For one, 3 mana for +1/+1 and vigilance for all creatures (except tokens) is a strong turn to have, and the other reason is that the vigilance allows you to be less proactive with predicting your opponents attacks. Plus, the enchantment removal you are most likely to run into is Dromoka's command, which isn't run too frequently In popular decks.
All of the creatures are human to allow the deck to gain full effect from Thalia's Lieutenant, and uses majority 2 or 3 drops to minimise the chance of Avacyn (or any other mid/late game winner) ruining your day.
One further change I made to the deck was reducing the number of Eerie Interludes by 1 to 2, as I found I was too frequently drawing it instead of other cards I needed, and the ratio of needed Eerie interludes to my opponents removal was too heavy in the latter.
I recently reduced the number of Kytheons in the deck by one, simultaneously increasing the number of plains by one, purely because i didn't feel that i had enough ramp in the deck, and the small number of land meant that later on in the game, and even in the midgame i didn't have enough land to keep up with my opponents turns. I am contemplating moving Kytheon to sideboard and moving a few copies of Thraben Inspector in for the card draw of the clue, and the strong 1 drop 1/2
Another card which can be switched out with a sideboard card (or other if preferred) is tenacity. The sole reason this is in the deck is because you are likely to have board control with the amount of 2 and 3 drop creatures in the deck and tenacity secures a stronger swing as well as assuring your life total stays above the healthy numbers. It is not a necessity however, you may want to swap it out for some card draw, or even just a few Avacyns to prevent that board wipe.
