I saw a standard dredge deck on Channel Fireball, and I decided to make it budget and put my spin on it.

This deck is a blast to play. It is pretty slow early game, but once it stabilizes midgame it packs a pretty nasty punch. The goal is to use cards like Commune with the Gods, Grisly Salvage, Satyr Wayfinder and Nyx Weaver to get cards into my graveyard.

We then use Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Nighthowler or Nemesis of Mortals to deal some major damage. All these cards want lots of creatures in the graveyard. That is why we only run 19 lands and lots of mana dorks.

Drown in Filth, for right now, is the only card we have to deal with threats our creatures can't deal with.

The empty slots are for strength from the fallen.
