Sideboard

Finally found time to do an actual description! So sorry it took me so long. To start, yay! 40+ points on this deck! Imaginary internet points can only make a person happier.

This deck is a Standard Orzhov Pillow Fort deck. A Pillow Fort deck is a control deck that prevents the opponent from doing anything, then playing a win condition. I suppose another way of describing the deck might be to refer to it as a Constellation deck. We've seen Junk, Golgari, and Selesnya Constellation decks popping up in tournaments, but I honestly believe this variation is the most potent.

This deck specializes in playing enchantments, something the current meta has a tough time dealing with. We play two non-enchantment permanents (three if we're including the side board). These two non-enchantment permanents are Archangel of Thune and Obzedat, Ghost Council. They act as big finishers for this deck.

This deck has massive synergy. We utilize mechanics such as Constellation and Extort to both deal damage and protect ourselves. Let's look at how each card contributes to this strategy.

Archangel of Thune -- An efficient source of life gain, as well as making our creatures huge late game.

Athreos, God of Passage -- Now that Deicide is in every side board, we can only safely play enough of a god card that we can still win relatively easy without it. Athreos is fantastic for punishing removal of our creatures.

Banishing Light -- Great removal that contributes to both our enchantment count and our devotion.

Blind Obedience -- Slows our opponents down and gives us a slow burn while we gain life with every spell we cast.

Grim Guardian -- Damages opponents with each enchantment we play.

Heliod, God of the Sun -- Cranks out enchantments each turn that can also act as chump blockers or chump attackers.

Nyx-Fleece Ram -- Big body that gains us life every turn.

Obzedat, Ghost Council -- Hard to answer burn and life gain permanent that can act as a heavy threat late game.

Oppressive Rays -- Awesome 1-drop that shuts down scary attackers/blockers as well as pesky cards such as Pack Rat.

Sanguine Bond -- With all this life we're gaining, we'd be silly to not use it to our advantage. Getting this out can almost always guarantee a win.

Sphere of Safety -- Excellent protection against most decks in the current meta. Getting this out can almost always guarantee a win.

Underworld Coinsmith -- Gains life with each enchantment we play. We can also use his ability to deal more damage to the opponent.

Underworld Connections -- Excellent card advantage that contributes to both our enchantment count and our devotion.

That's pretty much it! This deck doesn't even require attacking or blocking. Simply control their permanents and play spells and you can slowly, but surely, win.

I'll be sure to do a description of the side board soon.

Updates Add

I've noticed that even though they hit Constellation triggers, if my board is near empty they have little impact. I've reduced both Athreos, God of Passage and Heliod, God of the Sun to 1 copy and added 1 Erebos, God of the Dead for a better matchup against control.

Back up to 4 copies of Sphere of Safety and Oppressive Rays.
