This deck has changed quite a bit from the last version i posted. One of the bid additions of splashing of black for cut/ribbons. This is mostly being used as a lightning axe fill in for future proofing but the ribbons part is quite interesting as a finisher in a long game.
Ive also been working on being able to sustain the pressure needed to win games. I picked up fateful showdown as a burn/gas card that I think will put me in a better spot rather than casting cathartic reunion. Keeping the burn going along with hazoret and thermo I think should be able to sustain enough pressure game 1 to beat out alot of match ups.
I moved soul scar mage out to the sideboard because while it is an excellent card I havent seen too many uses for his ability.
One of my greater performers has been lathnu hellion. It really carries its own as a sort of ball lightning without the trample. Keeping it for 2 turns really helps when there is an opening.
2x Insult/injury is in here somewhere but ill have to wait till im home. (I do these at work cause I work graveyard and it gives me something to do)
But yes im overall happy with how its turned out. This is my wifes deck but i do the tinkering for it. It really performs well to her playstyle and she generally enjoys playing it. Her first FNM is this week im hoping she does well!
