what about permeating mass?

Thanks, I like that. I've been thinking about Permeating Mass as an option. It might be a nice way to gum up aggro decks early and would provide another 1 drop in this deck. I'd also be more tempted to bring Declaration in Stone into the deck then, giving a potential to exile many or most of their creatures if it connects enough times. Though with mostly spirits I'd be flying in over it anyhow. I'm not too sure what I'd move around in the deck though. Thoughts?

Since your able to tap down your opponents creatures or send them back into their hands I think Declaration in Stone might be unnecessary but i would swap out Clip Wings for Declaration in Stone in the sideboard because it will do basically the same thing but much much better.

also I would take out 2 Evolving Wilds and add two more Yavimaya Coast so that you won't be stalled a turn on mana and take out the other 2 Evolving Wilds and add two more Plains for cards that need mana symbol wmana symbol w like Anafenza and Collective Effort

You're right. That's the better option. Change made. Thank you.

I'll have to play test Permeating Mass to see if I can make it work.

Also what do you think about Essence Flux in the sideboard? I keep playing around with mainboarding it to maximize ETB effects (even flavor-wise it screams to be in this deck). But I've been subbing it in for Collective Effort. I think Effort has the better economy even though it's more expensive by potentially clearing a path and +1/+1 pumping my board. Or maybe drop Thalia, Heretic Cathar for the flux. I dunno. Any insight?

I was having a hard time hitting my colors consistently without the Evolving Wilds. I think what I'l do is start with taking out 1 Wild for a Plains. Maybe I'll do one Yavimaya too.

yep i'm liking essence flux a little bit more than collective effort mainly because essence flux is an instant and you can get tons of triggers for only 1 mana which also let's you do other things on that turn.

When are you planning on subbing in bygone bishop?

My thought was for grindier match-ups Bygone Bishop could provide extra gas to put cards in hand.

If you want the option to fetch for a color but don't necessarily want to lose momentum, why not try Warped Landscape?
