with all the dragons around and plentful ramp now that devotion is dead. i decided what better to do then play the colors dragons are known for JUND.

Your ideal starting hand is 2-4 mana 1-2 of your mana accelerents with 1-2 6-7 drops. the deck is designed from the ground up to have big creatures enter hard and early. don't keep a slow hand!

Why i choose certain cards.Dragon lord Atakra: she enters the field with an immediate game turning effect. if she isn't answered she will end the game within 3 turns.

Omnath, Locus of Rage: like atarka, Omnath must be answered or you will over run them with elementals. with your fetchlands netting you 2 more 5/5s after he enters.

Dragonlord Kolaghan: a lot of people think shes a sideboard card. i disagree, mainly because she gives all other creatures haste. this works extremely well with See the Unwritten as it allows your creatures to come in swinging. her -10 for casting a creature/planeswalker is just added control.

See the Unwritten: with out genesis hydra/devotion leading the charge at dropping big creatures in see the unwritten is now the king. it won't dig as deep but it can hit 2 possible targets! if you hit your targets you can end the game outright.

Frontier Siege : mana dorks are always the first thing to die when the boards tilted even slightly. by putting some of our mana acceleration into an enchantment we can guarantee stable high mana early on. later into the game it turns into fight removal for your dragons.

Rattleclaw Mystic: with caritids gone he is now the premier manadork. most ramp decks will be R/G meaning he fits well into most Dragon decks. he can also be unmorphed for mana acceleration 1 turn sooner.

Shaman of Forgotten Ways : same as above he is now one of the top at ramping out creatures.with him and a turn 2 dork you can play a 7drop on turn 4.

Whisperer of the Wilds: with rotation he is one of the few mana dorks we have left. competing against the ally dork. with fercious trigged he adds an aditional mana which gives him the edge over Beastcaller Savant. the other advantage is this deck uses sorceries to play more creatures with see the unwritten. making him win out as number 3 dork out of 5.

Roast : this card will kill almost every problem card except for dragons and the biggest eldrazi. in such event they are sideboarded out for Ruinous Path.

Crux of Fate: do i really need to explain this one in a primarily dragon deck?

Sideboard- I tried to make this as broad catching as possible. Kolaghan's Commands for artifact control/ extra removal.

With the new massive amount of colorless creatures in standard we should start to look for something else to replace Ultimate price.

Virulent Plague: this kills the scions/ally tokens.

Rest of sideboard WIP.
