Analysis

This deck is aggressive and highlights creatures, and generating creature tokens. The way it wins is by extracting as much value from having creatures enter the battlefield, and then sacrificing them for more resources and damage against enemy players and their creatures. Some interactions will prove to be infinite when the amount of tokens generated fuels the cost of making them.

This is why I am a huge fan of Animation Module and how it can get you tons of value, especially with this deck's additional theme of +1/+1 counters. With Juniper Order Ranger and Ashnod's Altar , the player can generate infinite tokens, for just one example.

Alternative ways to win include massive combat and/or commander damage. The player of this deck should expect to cast threats around turn 4 and/or 5, with most threats in the 4-7 cmc range. It would be suggested to single out a player who is playing a combo deck first because, it will be easy to deal with their minimal creatures and get attacks in.

About The Brew

Spent: <$200 (2017-2019)

I really took a liking to Reyhan, Last of the Abzan and decided that I would love to make an aggro deck with counters based around him partnered with Tymna the Weaver . After several brews, and rigorous play testing, it was apparent what I really wanted was an aristocrats deck with some counter generation. This is why the deck has evolved out from its abzan shell into a dune deck. Adding red and Tana, the Bloodsower really helped open some doors as far as getting more creature tokens consistently and better forms of removal.
