Possibly the best tagline for a deck I've seen yet.

If you do splash Red, you get Ancient Grudge . If you don't consider adding some Ancient Stirrings to dig for the coating.

This is the best horseshit I've seen in a while

I get that you could potentially destroy all their land by turn 4, but what do you do about the creatures that they've already played by that point. It seems like it would be extremely weak to any sort of aggro. I understand that it's casual though and seems like it'd be a really fun dick-ish deck

Liquidmetal Coating can deal with creatures too.

I'd skip the dorks and add ancient stirrings.

Doesn't it become not an artifact again once it leaves play?

Am i reading this right? Use Myr Landshaper to turn enemy land to an artifact then target it withSplinter to basically skrew them up right away? I didnt even look at this deck i was just trying to find some fast decks to test my infect deck against and by your t3 i had no islands luckily on my t3 i drew a forest and won. One more turn and i would have been pretty screwed.

Hilarious, pretty crappy against any multi deck that has rare land though.

Idk man if i run islands swamps and dual lands and i get wrecked off all the dominant land color the chances i get out enough duals is highly improbable

No wut I'm saying is that ur Splinter combo is most effective against decks running 24 of the same basic land, against any commander deck worth it's shit, there should be only 4 of a basic land tops...

Oh is this a commander deck? My bad you are totally right in that case.

Cheap and to the point! If you decide to make this deck a bit more competitive you can get ideas from my deck. Archeology 101 +1 man budget ftw!

Tanglewalker would also help your Viridian Corrupter get in without a problem..

this deck is actually playable in like a "kitchen table" environment or even maybe at a tournament you dont expect to win very much at

Terra Stomper needs to be in your deck because your mana ramping to nothing that has to go some where and not just sit there Terra Stomper is cheap as hell too

I'd take Lull out for Moment's Peace ! It's a fog with flashback! Unless the cycling is relevant.

lil_cheez says... #23

NJJohson9 seems that the only non-modern pieces out there are Lull and Tangle , you have Fog-like versions in modern that could replace them, like Defend the Hearth and Druid's Deliverance !
Also, there are Terrifying Presence , Moonmist , Blunt the Assault , Clinging Mists , Tanglesap

I have actually built this deck with mixed success. I was thinking that perhaps Caustic Wasps would be a great addition due to the fact they are flying and reusable artifact destruction
