Yes, this really is a budget mono-red Storm deck I built because I love Storm but hate blue. It is extremely silly, but I adore it. True, it's probably not going to win with any consistency, ever. But the 2% of the time it does win? It feels good, man. Dies to discard spells, dies to enchantment removal, dies to counterspells. NOT dying to various other archetypes is considered a Work In Progress. (and if I could work out a way to get Veil of Summer into the deck without totally screwing up the land base, and/or spending loads of money, I absolutely would.)
