This is what happens when you pick up a card and stare at long enough. It translates into writing an entire new fun deck at 12:06am. The card in question is
Strength from the Fallen
. Now I've attempted to run this card before but the deck i put together just didn't seem to gel and the one turn boost just seemed negligible. However combined with
Soulflayer
suddenly this deck has new life as discarded card are given new life.
Baleful Eidolon
replacing Den Protector. Simply flows better in this deck. Triggers constellation, enables deathtouch for Soulflayer and acts as blocking fodder vs larger creatures. It can save me a turn and if it dies, it just feed into the graveyard synergy.
Sylvan Caryatid including it's ability to ramp, it serves as the hexproof enabler for
Soulflayer
Boon Satyr all around great blocker/aggressor but is also fantastic as bestowable enchantment for
Soulflayer
. Flash this in on a Sylvan Caryatid activating SFTF for combat tricks. Also activates constellation effects for blossoms, doomwake and strength from the fallen.
Erebos's Emissary
Super cheap card that doesn't work for most decks except this one. I needed a mechanism to load the graveyard from my hand and yet triggers constellation as well.
Herald of Torment
constellation enabler, flying enabler for
Soulflayer
Eidolon of Blossoms the drawng engine for the deck, when properly setup can let you draw a f-ton. Obviously also enables constellation as well for as itself.
Nylea, God of the Hunt Enables trampling, can become a creature or also enable INDESTRUCTIBLE for you know who!

No real synergy, it's just harder to kill. Great target for SftF
Soulflayer
the star of the show! Delve is fairly easy to come by in this deck with commune and kruphix. Pull him out and delve into sweet buffs.
Commune with the Gods the lubricant of this deck. Allows you to search out the right enchantments and mass drop and load the graveyard
Grave Strength
toss more things into the GY, yes! And then get +1/+1 counters for EACH creature in the GY? This can get ugly fast.
Strength from the Fallen
the star attraction. Wonderful synergy with so many cards. Can be especially fun when there's 2 or more instances of it.
Ultimate Price need that efficient spot removal
Hero's Downfall need that fair priced flexible removal
