This is the first "competitive" deck I built. I'm just looking to upgrade the tech and make it more consistent.

I use quotes because I mainly just play kitchen table games with my friends, but all of us have our mix of jank and competitive decks. This was built only using cards I had gotten from packs and other products, with the exception of the Sorin's. The deck has a life gain/drain theme. The main wincon I employ is to get out Defiant Bloodlord + Whip of Erebos and swing with a bunch of creatures, draining my opponents health even if they block.

I would like to make it a Modern deck, but Karlov is just so fun. So any recommendations on what to replace him with are welcome.
