Started with two of the Sorin decks from Sorin V Tibalt. My friend bought the Tibalt decks to create a chaos deck, and I'm working on trying to make a modern-playable black/white tokens deck.
I do not have the proper modern landbase yet, however I will eventually work towards having it eventually. For right now, this is more casual until I can get two or three of the shock lands and some Windswept Heath. I can borrow some Bloodstained Mire from my vampire deck when I go to compete with it, but that can wait.
I have Unmake instead of Path to Exile because it comes in the Sorin deck, Vs. spending $9 a card, and Gather the Townsfolk instead of Raise the Alarm since while it is a sorcery, when I get muffed over and am about to loose, I can have 5 tokens instead of just 2.
At some point, I will need to replace the Ancient Craving's with Erebos, God of the Dead to prevent other life-gain strats from having too good of a time, while providing a reliable draw source. I wouldn't be able to get him to be a creature, but drawing when I need to and preventing things like actual soul sister decks from overwhelming me is very critical. Additionally, Ancient Craving isn't modern legal, since it's from an older set. (Another reason why it needs replaced) The same goes for Death Grasp which needs replaced with two Victim of Night, since it gets used to remove creatures anyway.
