The soldiers of Akros have assembled for war, with help from the Gods and Elspeth. First deck I've ever built (with help from my friends and staff at the local shop)

The idea of this deck was for every card to help buff each other (like a phalanx should). I spent a few days doing some research and saw that white or red soldiers seem to do just the trick.

The meat and bones of this deck

As many of you see, there isn't a lot of variation in this deck and the mana curve is very low. The majority of this deck comes down to only a few cards.

Playing Akroan Crusader + Coordinated Assault will help get multiple units on the board very quick.

When casting Coordinated Assault onto an Akroan Crusader and then a Phalanx Leader, you have made 3 creatures strength 2 for the price of 1 mana! But wait, there's more!

A phalanx is only as strong as the weakest man.

Hey everyone! After about a year of playing standard and lots of sealed/ deck building I have made some edits to the deck. Tried to include some evasion, removal, card draw, utility, and general flavor. Hope y'all enjoy!
