This is one of a few mono-red Pauper EDH decks I'm tinkering with. Each member of our playgroup drew a color at random for a mono build and I came out with red. Some may say that's unfortunate, and I'd agree that my color doesn't have many of the tools that are important for EDH decks to function smoothly...card draw and ramp comes to mind. Especially at common. So I've done my best to build in as much draw and mana stuffs as I can while maximizing support for this deck's win condition: Fanatic of Mogis' ETB effect.

The idea is to leverage low-CMC permanents, mostly evasive creatures and auras, to get to double-digit devotion quickly. Because they're sporting menace, flying, intimidate, and even flanking (!), I'm getting in combat damage incidentally. I've included a section of sac and burn spells to kill Fanatic for another go-around, and I imagine they could come in handy as finishing moves too.

That all works in theory, but this deck has many vulnerabilities. Some are inherent to the color, some are my own brewing limitations. Damage prevention, life gain, protection, counterspell, enchantments, and board wipes (which, in Pauper EDH, is less of a thing) come to mind. I'll also lose if I don't refill my hand with fresh red permanents, and I'll lose if I'm forced to block attacks and lose my creatures.
