I could play test it... but since its CMC of 3, for just a 2/2 that can't be boosted in this deck, I see difficult that it'll come through the tests.

card:Chandra's Phoenix can't be boosted but it can return from the dead which is kinda huge when you can keep the pressure on and not worry about swinging into a Ornithopter + Cranial Plating or something similar. Most modern decks pack enough removal to take out your 7 creatures with spells to spare.

Also, a Hasty Flier is far from vanilla.

Wow, nice deck, and it appears to be a great budget build as well o.o I'm going to buy this or something similar and playtest it. My red control deck doesn't really get to killing the enemies before turn 7 or so ;D

Try slivers, my deck can do over 10000 damage in a few rounds (IT IS POSSIBLE!).

The onion's dead. Many tears were spilled, but we managed to do it. What you think about using Rune Snag vs. Mana Leak ? I'm happy this deck was useful for ya'!

@wikidpanda-the-boss I just realized you meant to combine Jace's Erasure with Blue Sun's Zenith ... but the tricky part is that that strategy uses 2 cards instead of one for the same purpose (Sands of Delirium which can also be found with Fabricate in case of need)... but well thought anyways! I was thinking that your creatures didn't have enough evasion and was about to suggest splashing green for Rancor , but then I saw Kabira Evangel and Brave the Elements . Pro-whatever you need them to be is good too.

Nimbus Wings doesn't seem great. Journey to Nowhere can remove a blocker or a game ender.

Since most if your stuff is Human Bonds of Faith might work as well.

Mirror Entity for the win, since counters also work for the big X/X creatures <3

Spirit Mantle should do a better work than Nimbus Wings in so many ways, think about that

@Femme_Fatale: it's a good choice, but first I need to get my finances right. I'll take your suggestion though !

@hubatish: Indeed, Nimbus Wings wasn't truly helpful in real-life matches. I think I'll go for 3x Oblivion Ring in those slots. Also Scout's Warning needs to be reevaluated.

@Ohthenoises: Bonds of Faith is a good choice, but I'm think of more control or something global... with the 4x Hyena Umbra as buffs is enough for now. Any other idea is welcome, by the way!

@mlequesne: in the next upgrade I'll consider getting 2 or 3 Mirror Entity thanks dude :3

What would you take out Scout's Warning for if you did?

@Lucius_Markov I took those 3 out and put Harm's Way fo offensive/defensive spot removal... and also took the 3x Brave the Elements out and chose Dawn Charm

What do you think? The first one is to get rid of the classic Arbor Elf or Birds of Paradise and other little bugs (yes, Scute Mob , I was looking at you). Dawn Charm is flexible and can be useful in multiplayer, acting as a Fog or preventing the typical Lightning Bolt to the face.
