Orazca is brimming with treasure! —Jan. 9, 2018

Rivals of Ixalan is just around the corner, and I'm excited to see how it will affect this deck. Changes I've made so far:

Dire Fleet Hoarder has been replaced with Gleaming Barrier - I think we are going to see a lot of aggro next release, and switching from a 2/1 to a 0/4 that has the same effect will help stall some of that aggro. The barrier also counts as an artifact which will help Marionette Master and Storm the Vault  Flip when I make room for it in the deck.

Vraska, Relic Seeker has been replaced for Mastermind's Acquisition - Mastermind's serves as a jack of all trades that can tutor in whatever I'm lacking in any given situation. I could still tutor in Vraska if I needed, or any other card. I wouldn't be surprised if this card is going to become a staple in many standard decks.

I've also thrown many other cards into my maybe board from RIX. I still have a Iot of looking over to see where I can fit what, but I also plan on acquiring most of the cards in my maybe board so that I can tutor them in with Mastermind's.

I've been working on a blue/black treasure control deck since Ixalan launched and I started much the same way you have but ended up making quite a few changes (my deck is here if you're curious).

Basically, I found Revel in Riches was too slow to be any good against aggro and control didn't run enough creatures to make it worth while. I found myself side boarding it most games so I ended up switching it out with Tezzeret the Schemer since his ultimate is not an unreachable win condition, his -2 ability on a Marionette Master can allow you to win with just 3 treasures, and he created pseudo treasures that will still work with Marionette Master.

I tried Mechanized Production as well but it was too easy to remove with Abrade which is a fairly common card in any deck that runs red.

That being said, I really like the way you're building this deck! I like the pirate package you are running but I would suggest focusing predominantly on Marionette Master as your win condition since I feel she is going to be your most consistent method, maybe bump her up to 3 copies?

Either way, good luck!

@stfl500, Thanks for your suggestion. Tezzeret is an amazing suggestion. I'm definitely picking a couple up. I agree with what you say about Revel in Riches, in multiplayer games i get heavily focused as soon as I drop it. While mechanized production is a vulnerability I still like it. I really like your deck and I would consider leaning more towards control like you do if I was a better control player xD I'm considering Torrential Gearhulk, probably replacing my Deadeye Plunderers to help me lean closer towards control.

@Ta11Man I would say hold off on adding Torrential Gearhulk until you run more then 4 instants because he is a pricey guy and his value really shines when he consistently has lots of targets for his ability.

@stfl500 I agree. Its definitely on the back-burner. I honestly might wait until Kaledesh swaps out of standard and see if he gets any cheaper.

@w33m4n, Thank you for sharing your deck. I'll admit that have looked at it before for inspiration making this one. Your deck is obviously much better, but I enjoy playing with what I've built. One thing I've realized when looking at your deck most recently is that treasure can be given more value via improvise. I'd like to play around with Inspiring Statuary and using it to expand my mana pool every turn.

Right now I'm also considering removing Vraska (Or at least side-boarding her). Lost Legacy looks like a cheap card that can remove a player's wincon before they even draw it. Thanks again for sharing your deck, I'll definately be watching as you update it for Rivals of Ixalan when it releases.

This is just plain fun. I tried making a Treasure Deck but it was never competitive. I did this wrong because Sailor of Means was not worth it. I did get a Treasure chest full of small semi precious stones to use as counters and it was fun. Tezzeret is a great suggestion! Heres to hoping that Rivals brings us more Treasure support.

Thanks antacidbrn, a lot of the decks that others have shared in this comments section are definitely much more competitive, but I enjoy playing with what I've got a lot. Sailor of Means is definitely worth it. He is an excellent defender and produces treasure on ETB, which means you can produce a lot of treasure when comboing him with Panharmonicon or Siren's Ruse.

@Ta11Man I agree with you aboutSailor of Means he is super effective in the competitive game. The 4 toughness slows down the early game with a lot of aggro decks and the treasure speeds up your curve of your wincon. The 3 casting cost also helps evade Fatal Push
