After playtesting my first Krenko attempt, I immediately noticed something important: Krenko dies. A lot.

This has led to v2.0 of the deck which has the following features.

1 - A lot of mana acceleration, Krenko can end up costing 8 or more so you need a lot of mana, fast. This includes: Caged Sun, Gauntlet of Power, Extraplanar Lens , Sol Ring, Fire Diamond, Thran Dynamo, Gilded Lotus.

2 - A lot of commander protection, in the form of equipment. Both in form of hexproof and indestructibility.

3 - Haste. Krenko without haste is a guaranteed way of losing the game. Trust me: most of the games I have played have boiled down to Krenko having haste or not.

4 - A significant reduction in the number of goblins. I noticed that once Krenko had haste, I only needed one other goblin for the board to become very stupid, very quickly.

5 - Card draw. A low casting cost deck with a lot of mana ramp makes you run out of cards very quickly. Howling Mine, Font of Mythos , Staff of Nin and Anvil of Bogardan all do the trick.

6 - Lockdown. The main problem with mono-red decks is that they are easily locked-down by nasty enchantments, so I have added some lock-down cards of my own to balance things a bit. Blood Moon makes 5 colour decks virtually unusable and Stranglehold stops tutors and land fetches. Also, while Torpor Orb might hinder a couple of my cards, it can render some deck synergies virtually useless.

7 - Other utilities: Warstorm Surge, Goblin Bombardment, Five-Alarm Fire , Boggart Shenanigans make goblins into damage. Shivan Harvest makes annoying lands go boom. Trading Post allows me to trade goblins for artifacts. Thousand-Year Elixir and Illusionist's Bracers to double Krenko's ability. Spine of Ish Sah to blow up anything I can't deal with by other means.
