Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas make cards like Anointed Procession and Parallel Lives even more terrifying since damage is done every time a dragon enters the battlefield. Similarly, Growing Ranks and Wake the Reflections suddenly cause damage, too.

All those tokens mean you can start doing a lot on your turn by using Cryptolith Rite in addition to your mana, which if you have Mirari's Wake is already a lot anyway. Plus, with Dragon Tempest giving the tokens haste, you can start using them right away whether you want to attack or tap them for mana.

When you tap all those dragons for mana, don’t fret about damage because Throne of the God-Pharaoh brings (mostly) unblockable damage at the end of your turn, potentially setting up a different win condition.

Dragon Broodmother is definitely the easiest way to really get the token ball rolling, but Dragonmaster Outcast and Lathliss, Dragon Queen aren’t anything to sneer at either. Verix Bladewing will likely only get kicked if you have some of the extra mana-generating cards out and he can only generate once since the legendary would have the same name if you tried to kick a second one.

Lastly, Helm of the Host adds some extra fun no matter which dragon you make a copy of. You can even keep equipping it to dragons (for 5 mana) in order to create more of the specific one you want.
