Hello Everyone!

Since Journey into Nyx came out, I built a G/B deck because Pharika seems like such a fun card to me. This was originally name "Snakes, Gorgons, and a Hydra?" but I changed it because Pharika is just awesome.

The game should open with a Voyaging Satyr or a Brain Maggot. From there, Pharika, God of Affliction should come out early, and Reaper of the Wilds is an immediate must.

The goal is to get Pharika to be a creature with devotion from Garruk, Apex Predator, Hythonia the Cruel , Reaper of the Wilds , Indulgent Tormentor , and the other double costed cards. (Whip of Erebos can be switched with Bow of Nylea)

A good combination is activating Hythonia the Cruel 's monstrous effect followed up with Pharika, God of Affliction's ability to make the snakes. On a side note, I don't see why people say Hythonia the Cruel is a bad card, she has won me a good amount of games by herself.
