Shisato, Whispering Hunter isn't... a great card. She's got a few too many factors against her, but as far as on-hit triggers go, few are scarier than flat-out nixing your opponent's untap step! A one-sided Stasis is the kind of thing that wins games.

Shisato has no evasion of her own, which is where her friend Kaseto, Orochi Archmage comes in. For two mana, he not only makes Shisato unblockable, he gives her a nice +2/+2 boost to ensure the hit hurts. Since both creatures are legendary, you can find either one with Time of Need.

Coiling Oracle and Ice-Fang Coatl both replace themselves when they show up, meaning you aren't really down a card if you feed them to Shisato's upkeep. Ohran Viper can help you draw into your key cards and combos nicely with Kaseto, becoming an unblockable source of card draw each turn. Orochi Eggwatcher  , Patagia Viper and Sosuke's Summons all generate snake tokens to feed to Shisato.

Of course, making your opponent skip his untap step isn't a sure thing. If he still has some mana to use, he might just be able to draw into a way to stop you and use it. Since you're trying to get unblockable critters through anyway, Hidden Strings can tap down two potential blockers, then switch off two of your opponent's lands every time Shisato gets through. Opposition likewise can tap just about anything down, putting your plentiful tokens to work before you have to sacrifice them. With your opponent's whole board helplessly paralyzed, your venomous snakes can pull him apart at your leisure!
