I had never even thought about tribal snakes when I was given Seshiro the Anointed as a gift / challenge. He's pricey (mana-wise), but his abilities as a commander are pretty sick.
This deck starts playing defense with token generation ( Orochi Hatchery , Seed the Land ) and snakes like Kashi-Tribe Reaver that discourage opponents from attacking, until Seshiro comes out.
With Seshiro out, the deck turns more aggro with Whispersilk Cloak , Executioner's Hood , etc. for card draw, and Hooded Hydra , Honored Hydra , and Bellowing Tanglewurm to finish. Also possible to get a mid-game voltron win with Seshiro and Ring of Kalonia or Strata Scythe .
This is a high-CMC deck, which is fine because it's green, and green ramps like crazy: I use Vernal Bloom , Caged Sun , Zendikar Resurgent - as well as creatures like Shizuko, Caller of Autumn , Sakiko, Mother of Summer , and Karametra's Acolyte - and lands like Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Gaea's Cradle . It makes bringing Seshiro out multiple times less painful, which is good because this much ramp needs the card draw to support it. Could probably add more...
One thing I know I could use more of is removal. Any suggestions (on that or the deck in general), comments, or upvotes appreciated!
