Sideboard

Maybeboard

So I've seen some modern sliver decks online, and I've been playing slivers since I knew what they were. A lot of the decks I've seen posted are basically the same, 1 trick pony, I hope you don't have removal cause I'm gonna hit you in the face deck. I built one, it got tripped really easy, so I wanted to take slivers in a different route.

This is my attempt at making a sliver deck that isn't just playing anthem slivers to try and win. Thus no Aether Vial, partially because it messes with Collected Company and partially because unless it's turn 1, I don't want to see it. The mana base was a bit of a pain too, and I'm still thinking of dropping a Reflecting Pool for another Gavony Township. Or maybe a Steam Vents and changing the fetches to Wooded Foothills, but that might mess with Township consistency. The pools just keep ruining opening hands. I also tried Mutavault at first, but Township tested better for me. It's easy enough to rebuild a board after a wrath effect by holding Co-Co than just pinging for 2 and hoping for the best. Township also gives me something to do with mana when I have nothing else to play.

I tried to build slivers that can adapt when I need it to, and at instant speed. It may be slower than punchy sliver decks, but I can get it to be more controlled and consistant, plus having more access to draw and search effects is really what I've found lacking in the other sliver decks.
